Using the GemLightbox Pro Turntables

Both the aerial and bottom turntables work together and you can capture beautiful images using either turntable while keeping both of them on.

Simply place your jewelry piece on either or both turntables and start shooting beautiful jewelry pieces.

 

Turntable Direction and Speed for GemLightbox Pro

The GemLightbox Pro can be controlled by the GemLightbox Application to rotate in the following directions:

  • 15-degree intervals in a clockwise or anti-clockwise direction by tapping the left or right buttons on the camera screen.
  • 360-degrees clockwise for one full rotation back to the original position in the 360-degrees video option.
  • 90-degrees clockwise, 180-degrees anti-clockwise, then 90-degrees clockwise back to the original position in the 90-degree video option.
  • 45-degrees clockwise, 90-degrees anti-clockwise, then 45-degrees clockwise back to the original position in the 45-degree video option.

Control turntable direction and speed via GemLightbox Application

You can control the GemLightbox turntable through the GemLightbox Application.

  1. Ensure that the switch at the back of the GemLightbox Pro is switched to the App Mode

  2. Turn the GemLightbox Pro on

    Power_on
  3. Launch the GemLightbox Application.

  4. Click on Bluetooth.

  5. A bubble with your unit will appear on the screen.

  6. Tap on the bubble to connect.

  7. Tap on the Camera button and switch to Video Mode.

  8. You can change the speed of the turntable simply by tapping on the Fast or Slow mode in Settings.

Control turntable speed via manual switch on the GemLightbox Pro

You can control the GemLightbox turntable through the manual switch located at the back of the GemLightbox Pro

  1. There are two speeds which you can switch to control the turntable.

  2. Switch to the slow speed to be able to capture details for more intricate pieces and fast speed for quicker videos suited for social media uploads.
  3. This is suitable to be used with DSLR as it allows DSLRs with recording function too be able to do 360 videos as well!
