What is the Recommended Resolution Format For GemCam?
Quick Answer
GemCam captures still images up to 4K resolution (3840 × 2160) and records video at 2160 × 2160. Both settings are selected inside GemIQ on your desktop or laptop before you shoot.

Confirm your computer meets the minimum system requirements below and that GemIQ is installed and you are logged in.

Graphics Card: NVIDIA GTX 1660 or AMD Radeon RX 580 (4 GB VRAM or higher)

Steps
Log in to the GemIQ on your desktop or laptop.
Click Capture to open the capture mode.
Select the Camera icon to enter still image mode or Video icon to enter recording mode.

Scroll to the Resolution section. 3840 x 2160 for images and 2160 x 2160 for videos.

Expected Result
Your still images are saved at up to 4K (3840 × 2160), preserving fine detail and brilliance across all jewelry types. Your videos are recorded at up to 2160 × 2160 for clear, high-quality footage ideal for showcasing your pieces.
If This Does Not Work

Resolution options are greyed out or missing: Verify your computer meets the minimum system requirements listed above.

GemCam is not detected in the GemIQ: Check that GemCam is properly connected, then restart GemHub. Ensure GemHub is up to date.
