Using Your Own Domain for Sharing Links from GemHub

A step-by-step guide to using your own domain for sharing media, products, and catalogs.

By default, the domain used for sharing media, product, or catalog links from GemHub is gembox.app. However, with a paid subscription, you can use your own domain when sharing your products, images, and catalogs with customers.

To use your own domain for sharing links, follow these steps:

  1. Login to your GemHub account and click on the Profile icon on the top right of the Page.

  2. Navigate to "Domain & URLs".

  3. Click "Connect My Domain".

  4. Enter your subdomain, brand, and top-level domain. You will need to create a subdomain with the company where you registered your domain name. This is a simple process that you or your technical support team can assist with.

  5. Click "Next" and follow the hosting setup instructions.

The process could take up to 24 hours to verify the DNS records. If everything was done properly, you will see the "Connected" status on the "Domains & URLs" tab, and you can start sending media, product, and catalog share links using your own domain.
