The GemLightbox App is configured so that your videos are automatically captured in a perfect square (1:1 aspect ratio) video.
This makes it perfect when uploading it to e-commerce platforms or social media platforms for that all e-commerce and social media platforms (including Facebook and Instagram) use square videos to correctly display images and videos.
Uploading Videos to Instagram
You can now upload videos to Instagram directly from the GemLightbox Application.
To upload:
- Select the media you want to upload and click on it.
- At the bottom of the screen, click the Share button.
- Then, click the Share option again.
- Next, select Instagram.
- Here, you will be able to select to post as an Instagram post, story or reel (for videos).
- Complete your post and click on the Checkmark on the top right/bottom left when you are ready to post your media.
Uploading Videos to Etsy
We suggest saving your videos first from the GemLightbox app to your own phone's memory or to your computer. Then, upload them to your Etsy shop thru the web or its app, Etsy Sell.
- Log in to the GemLightbox Application.
- Download the video from the GemLightbox Application.
- Now, go into your Etsy Store.
- Then, go to the product listing.
- Next, go to the video option and upload the video that you have saved in your Gallery.
Your video will now be uploaded and you will be able to see it in the listing as well when it is published.
