Editing Images and Videos

The following are the steps to use the app’s edit function:

  1. Simply go to the GemLightbox app’s gallery.
  2. Click on the photo you want to edit.
  3. Click on the edit icon found on the upper-right corner of the app’s interface.
  4. You can now access the Background Removal, AI Retouch, Remove Dust and Scratches as well as add your own logo, text, and emojis to your images and videos.
  5. Once you are satisfied, you can click Done on the top right corner then Save to save the image. Saving as a new media will create a new image and that will appear at the top of the gallery.

Resizing Videos and Images Using the GemLightbox App

Users can now resize both video and media files using preset aspect ratios for the various social media platforms:

  1. Instagram
  2. Youtube
  3. TikTok
  4. Faceboook
  5. Twitter

There are two ways that you can resize your images:

  1. Real-time resizing during image or video capture.
  2. Post-capture resizing for previously taken images or videos, including media files outside of the GemLightbox Application.

 

Real-time resizing

  1. From the GemLightbox Application, open the camera option.

  2. Next, select the camera filters option.

  3. Next, tap on Camera Settings.

  4. Tap on Enable Camera Aspect Ratio to enable the function.

  5. Next, in the filters window, tap on Camera Ratio.

  6. A variety of camera aspects ratio will appear. Proceed then to start shooting after selecting your desired camera aspect ratio!

Post-capture resizing

To resize your media files:

  1. From your GemLightbox application, tap on Create.

  2. Next, tap on resize.

  3. An option window will open and you can choose resize your images from the Gallery on the GemLightbox Application, from your native phone’s gallery or by taking a new image from the application.

  4. Once selected, all media available to be resized will appear

  5. Select the media file that you want to resize and a series of aspect ratios will appear. Choose the aspect ratio that you wish to use.

  6. Once you have completed, you can choose to save your media over the original file or as a new media file.
