Our GemLightbox are compatible with 110 and 240 volts, it come with an international adaptor that works with any power sockets around the world.
Do I need to assemble GemLightbox?
The GemLightbox comes fully assembled and can not be taken apart. It is a plug-and-play jewelry photography solution!
What is the shooting environment for the GemLightbox?
The GemLightbox is a controlled lighting environment designed to work independently from any external lighting environments. Therefore, operating the GemLightbox in a bright or dark room does not affect the image quality of the GemLightbox.
What are the Sparkle lights and daylight in the GemLightbox for?
Sparkles is designed to bring out beautiful sparkles in your gemstones without changing its colors. This is perfect for social media where you want to create content that really stands out.
Daylight is designed to simulate the effects of photographing jewelry in natural daylight. Daylight brings out the colours your customers want to see when capturing gems like rubies, sapphires and emeralds at anytime of the day.
We use a blend of different temperatures in our LED lights to create the perfect lighting condition for jewelry photography, the environment sits at around 5500k. There is also a “Daylight” option which mimics a yellow sunlight environment, roughly at 3500k. The CRI is 97+
What is the maximum dimension allowed?
The maximum dimension of products that can be photographed inside the GemLightbox is 15 cm diameter or small - medium sized necklace for photos and 8 cm diameter or standard bracelet or watch for videos.
What is the photography area of the GemLightbox?
The GemLightbox has a photography area of 6x8 inches.
Can I covering the magnet at the base of the GemLightbox?
The magnet at the base of the GemLightbox can be covered using the photography table (the curved table) provided with your GemLightbox and insert into the base. Alternatively, you can use a piece of plain white paper or cloth to achieve a similar result.
