Can GemCam Capture Large Jewelry and from Top-Down?

Can I capture a top-down shot using the GemCam?

Yes, it is possible to capture a top-down shot from the GemCam with the GemLightbox Pro only.

Please note while it is possible to capture a top-down shot, larger products can not be captured completely within frame as the GemCam is designed to capture the macro details at a 5x zoom.

Items must be shot at within the minimum focal distance still applies of 2-4in/5-10cm.

Can I use my GemCam to photograph large jewelry pieces?

Yes, larger pieces can be captured however they may be harder to photograph completely in a single frame as the GemCam is designed for Macro (close up) photography.

To capture larger pieces with the GemLightbox, remove front cover for larger viewing area but maintain the focal distance of 5 - 10cm / 2-4in.

If the item is to large, we recommend reverting to taking the photo using a smartphone.
