Photo & Video Management

In addition to having your media synced with your dashboard from the GemLightBox mobile app, you can likewise upload media from your desktop, sort it, download media and much more.

To upload photos & videos from your desktop, follow the steps below:

1. Log into the dashboard and navigate to the Media section.

2. Click on the "Upload Media" and then select "From Computer" in the dropdown menu.

3. Drag and drop the file which you would like to import or press the "Browse" button to manually search your desktop for the file which you would like to upload.

4. Once the file has been uploaded, it should be visible as the first media file in your Media section of the cloud dashboard.

To sort your photos and videos, follow the steps below:

1. In the the Media section of the dashboard, you can sort your photos and videos by:

  • Photo and video files associated with an SKU or files not associated with an SKU
  • By file type: image, video or interactive video
  • Search engine for a specific SKU

2. Select the sorting method and file type; results should automatically be displayed.

To download photos and videos from your dashboard, follow the steps below:

1. In the the Media section of the dashboard, click on the ellipsis icon of the file which you would like to download and select "Download" from the dropdown menu.

Or checkbox select the file which you would like to download and press the "Download" button.

2. Once the file has been downloaded, open it or move it to your desktop.

If you are having trouble downloading multiple files at once, please ensure that you enable the Pop-ups and redirects on your browser (see below)

 

To assign your photo or video to an SKU, follow the steps below:

1. In the the Media section of the dashboard, click on the ellipsis icon of the file which you would like to assign to an SKU and select "Assign to SKU" from the dropdown menu.

2. In the side panel, from the SKU dropdown menu select which SKU you would like the file to be associated with and press "Update."

3. A success message should be displayed once the photo or video file has successfully been assigned to an SKU.

To delete photos or videos, follow the steps below:

NOTE: Deleting photos or videos from your dashboard will also delete it from your GemLightbox App.

1. In the the Media section of the dashboard, click on the ellipsis icon of the photo or video which you would like to delete and select "Delete" from the dropdown menu.

Or checkbox select the photo or video which you would like to delete and press the "Delete" button.

2. The selected deleted photo or video will no longer be displayed in the media section of the cloud dashboard.
