The Jewelry Hub gives you the opportunity to take your GemLightbox mobile app images and turn them into interactive augmented reality jewelry items that your clients can try on themselves through their computer or mobile phone camera.
To create a Try On link from an image, follow the steps below:
1. In the media or products pages, click on the “Create Try On Link” button.
2. Select the jewelry’s product type.
3. Then select the jewelry item which you would like to turn into an augmented reality experience; once done, click “Next Step.”
4. Once the jewelry item has been placed on the template, you can move it around to the desired position, resize it to make it look more realistic, select from an option of templates and use the erase brush to remove any unnecessary parts of the jewelry item to have it be accurately placed on the body part.
5. When you have finished editing, enter an SKU for the newly created augmented reality object and press “Finish.”
* Entering an SKU is mandatory to create an augmented reality try on link; only 1 augmented reality try on link can be assigned to an SKU
6. Hover to the hyperlink that says “Click here” and the augmented reality try on link should open up the camera interface in a new tab for you to view the jewelry item in an augmented reality experience.
* When the camera interface opens up, it is important to give access to your camera in the browser:
7. When you are finished viewing the AR object through the camera, close the tab, go back to the Jewelry Hub and click “Ok.”
8. The newly created Try On link should be the latest item in your media page with the jewelry item placed on the selected template.
To create a Try On link from a product, follow the steps below:
1. In the products page open up the product for which you would like to create an augmented reality try on link. In the actions dropdown menu, select “Create Try On Link.”
2. Select the jewelry’s product type.
3. Then select the image from the product which you would like to turn into an augmented reality experience; once done, click “Next Step.”
4. Once the jewelry item has been placed on the template, you can move it around to the desired position, resize it to make it look more realistic, select from an option of templates and use the erase brush to remove any unnecessary parts of the jewelry item to have it be accurately placed on the body part.
5. When you have finished editing, press “Finish.”
