With the release of the latest version 2.0.2 (37), Apple users are now able to configure their image and video quality.
To configure the settings:
- Go to Settings
- Search for "GemLightbox" in the search bar or scroll down until you find the GemLightbox app and enter the settings
- Toggle the settings for your preferred quality. You can choose to:
- Save photos in max resolution
- Save photos as 300dpi
- Save videos in 4k
The default camera settings for the GemLightbox app are the max resolution (determined by your smartphone camera lens) and 72dpi for images, and 1080p for videos.
Please note that configuring your settings to the highest quality will result in larger files saved to your GemLightbox App. On average with all settings toggled, images will save at 3-4mb and videos at 40mb.
We recommend power users to upload their files to a cloud service such as Dropbox or OneDrive to manage your smartphone's internal storage.
