Getting Focus on GemCam Pro

Image Clarity & Setup

For the sharpest results, position the camera as close as possible to the jewelry, then slowly pull it back until the piece comes into perfect focus.

Once focused, adjust the brightness to your preference before capturing the image.

Autofocus & Manual Focus

Here are the steps to help reset the auto adjust feature should it not be working.

  • Toggle autofocus off and back on in GemHub to reset it.

  • If the image remains blurry, adjust the manual focus slider until it becomes sharp.

Clean the Lens

A clean lens is crucial for clear images. Use a microfiber or lint-free cloth to gently wipe the GemCam Pro lens before shooting.

Centering & Alignment

Enable grid lines in GemHub to keep gemstones centered and framing consistent.
If needed, reposition the camera or adjust the lens angle to best capture each piece.

Using the GemLightbox Pro’s Mirrored Cover

The mirrored door on the GemLightbox Pro enhances brightness and adds depth to images.

For even greater brightness, enable flash mode on the GemCam Pro and adjust brightness settings in GemHub to make your jewelry stand out.

Angle & Perspective Adjustments

Experiment with camera angles and lens positioning on the GemCam Pro to capture the best view.

For oversized items that cannot be fully captured with GemCam Pro, use the GemHub mobile app for overhead or full turntable shots.

Reset & Reconnect Cable

Unplug and reconnect the USB-C or USB-A cable to ensure a secure connection.

If issues still occur, reinstall or update the GemHub app to fix potential software-related problems.
