Hub users who are subscribed to the starter plan or any other subscription are eligible to create custom attributes; custom attributes can be text, numerical or dropdown attributes
To create custom attributes, follow the steps below:
1. Log into the dashboard and navigate to the products section.
2. Click on the "Create Product" button and then select "Manage Attributes" from the dropdown menu.
3. From the side panel click "Create Attribute" and then "Create New Attribute" from the dropdown menu.
4. In the following side panel, enter the name of the attribute which is a mandatory field, select if it'll be a text input attribute, numerical or dropdown attribute and if it's optional or mandatory and then select "Confirm."
Note: Selecting the attribute as mandatory means that you cannot leave the attribute field empty when creating or editing a product.
5. Newly created custom attribute should be visible in the list of products on the products page.
To manage attributes, follow the steps below:
1. Log into the dashboard and navigate to the products section.
2. Click on the "Create Product" button and then select "Manage Attributes" from the dropdown menu.
3. From the side panel click the pencil icon to edit the custom attribute or the trash bin icon to delete the custom attribute.
4. By Clicking the pencil icon, you can edit the custom attribute type, when done, click "Confirm."
5. Newly edited custom attribute should be visible in the list of products on the products page.
